Soothing Sista x Memebox Eyeshadow Quad Review

Hey guys! It's been awhile since I did a Memebox review. It's amazing how much Memebox has changed and evolved over the past couple of months. There are so many new boxes. There are so many Original Memebox products like the lipsticks, eyeshadows and the blushes. There are also collaborations with different bloggers and beauty gurus. This is one of them!

Soothingsista AKA Stephanie is a YouTuber and makeup expert. All of her videos have tens to hundreds of thousands of views. It makes sense that Memebox wanted to collaborate with her. In the past Memebox has had collaboration boxes with people but just recently Memebox has been making collaboration products. In Korea, they've been doing a lot of collab products with bloggers like Pony but I'm pretty sure this was the first collab product in the US. It's pretty exciting.

This SoothingSista product is a four palette eyeshadow. It's pretty cool because it's small and compact. Perfect for having in your purse for touch ups.

I love the names of these shadows. Sultra and Valencia are matte shadows and Candy Rain and Bae Area are shimmer shadows. These colors are rose neutral colors. Stephanie picked these colors because they're versatile and for the most part neutral colors work on everyone.

I took two pictures of the shadows because the camera didn't focus in on every color. The shadow starting from the left is Bae Area, Valencia, Candy Rain and last Sultra. It's best to use a primer with this eyeshadow. If not the colors really don't show up, especially on darker skin tones.

This palette comes with a small eyeshadow brush too. I usually use my own brushes but this is always good to have to use for touch ups during the day.

I did my best to try to blend all four colors together. I think it's a pretty nice neutral look.  I also used Kat Von D Tattoo liner and Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara. I know there is a lot you can do with this palette because I've seen what other people have done with the colors on Instagram.

This is cute palette. Perfect for an everyday look. I love all the products that Memebox has to offer. I also love that they collaborate with people who are making a name for themselves in the beauty and makeup community. You can buy this eyeshadow palette on Memebox's website. You can follow Stephanie on Youtube, Twitter and Instagram.

You can also follow Memebox on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram.

Thank you to Memebox for sending me this awesome product to review. What do you guys think of this palette? Do you have it? If so, do you like it? Let me know in the comments below. Until next time,

Etude House Pink Bird Pink Box Review // Give Me Chocolate

Hey guys! I'm back with another Pink Box review from Etude House. This one was actually a Valentine's Day themed box. I apologize for not posting it sooner. It's been hard juggling everything, my two jobs, my music and blogging, especially after my surgery.

Anyways onto this lovely review.

I love the themes that Etude House comes up with. This box's theme is Give Me Chocolate. Everything is chocolate themed. (Obviously, LOL!) There are three eye shadows and I was sent two out of the three shadows. There are six nail polishes in the set and I was sent three nail polishes.

The first eye shadow is called Cherry Truffle. The case that it comes in is so cute! It looks like a little chocolate bar with pink candy coating in a case. The brown shadow is a mixture of a matte and shimmery color. I would say it's a milk chocolate color. It's not too light and yet not too dark. It's a perfect neutral color to blend with colors that pop. The pink shadow is a subtle coral pink and has a creamy matte texture. It pairs perfectly with the milk chocolate brown shadow.

The second eye shadow is called Cacao Fudge. The brown shadow (just like the other one) has a shimmery matte texture. The big difference between this one and the other one is that this brown is much darker. It's more like a dark chocolate color. It's a great color to fill in the crease of your eyes or the outer corner of your eyes. The gold color is a shimmery glittery color. It's a great shadow to put over your lid or to use as a highlighting shadow to go right underneath your brow.

There were nail polishes from this chocolate theme that were sent to me as well.

Mint Chocolate Chip is this awesome mint green color with flecks of brown specks and glitter in it. It seriously looks like mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Cherry Ganache looks like a German Chocolate color. It's this gorgeous maroon red color.

Milk Cocoa looks the way that it sounds, it's a milk chocolate brown color.

You know what's cool about all of these polishes? They SMELL like CHOCOLATE! Seriously! They smell so good! It's amazing! I love them!

I was also sent Precious Mineral Any Cushion Foundation as well in the shade of Natural Beige W13. If you already don't know about this, it's a foundation in a cushion. It's very build able. You can get medium to almost full coverage with this makeup. I would recommend moisturizing your skin before hand though because this formula is somewhat thick and if your skin is dry it won't take to the foundation very well. It might cake up on your skin. I also will be wearing this now and not in the summer because for me, at least, it will be too heavy for the summer time.

I was also sent a sample package of Face Blur which a primer that is meant to blur your imperfections whether it's pores or lines.

So there you have it guys. This box was pretty great! It was so adorable! I was really excited when I saw what was in this box.

Don't forget to check out Etude House at etudehouse.com They always have some awesome special going on so make sure to make an account with them so that you can find out about their offers first. Don't forget to follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Their Youtube page is pretty awesome too.

Until next time guys,

Etude House Pink Box // Pink Bird Wish Lips Talk & Halloween Makeup Review

Hi guys! I'm back with another Pink Bird Pink Box Review. This box was sent to me around the end of September. The theme of this box is definitely Fall/Autumn themed. It includes the new Wish Lips Talk Lipstick and the Bloody Halloween Eye Shadow Palette.

This box came with a K Beauty Princess Manual, Volume 2. Look who's on the cover?! It's Krystal from f(x)! If you guys aren't already watching My Lovely Girl with Rain and Krystal you should start watching it! It's so good! It's one of the better K-Drama's I've watched so far! I love the fact that Krystal's character sticks up for herself and Rain is playing a character who is mature and is fitting for his age. I love it! I also love the makeup Krystal is wearing and I know she's wearing Etude House products! (I wonder if she's wearing the same shades I was sent!!!)

Along with the K Beauty Princess Manual, there's descriptions of each products that was sent to me.

This gives a brief description of the lipsticks and shows how you can wear them, as a gradient lip or full coverage lip.

Krystal looks so cute! I love her!

This is a brief description of the eye shadow palette that was sent to me. I was sent the Bloody Halloween one.

These are the different looks you can use with the shadows. There's also a lip color in the palette as well.

I love these K Beauty Princess Manuals! They show you how to rock different kinds of looks and how to get these gorgeous looks with their products.

I loved these tutorials. Chic Cat Eyes vs. Puppy Dog Eyes. I usually wear a cat eye, like everyday but maybe I'll start trying to do the puppy dog eye and switch things up a bit.

The Fantastic Color Eyes-Bloody Halloween Palette is cute and compact and yet has an array of colors in it.

There are 5 eye shadow colors and 1 lip color. Starting from the left the light yellowish tan color is 'Pale'. It's a shimmery shadow. The lip color is called 'Zombie Kiss' and it's a dark burgundy color. The next color is a light peach color called 'Witch Hunting' and it's the only color in the palette that's matte. The next color is a a brownish maroon color called 'Funky Horror'. The next color 'Bloody Burgundy' is exactly what it sounds like, it's a shimmery burgundy. The last color is called 'Halloween Night' and it's shimmery dark brown color.

Although this is called Bloody Halloween, these colors are great to wear in the Fall (or at anytime, if you like wearing darker colors all year round) I always love making new looks with eyeshadows and this palette definitely has potential. I love that it's small and compact, so easy to put in your purse and go, especially if you need  a touch up. The palette has a mirror too which is very helpful. The lip color has a thick consistency, thicker than a gloss but has a nice pigmented color like a lipstick.

I was also sent two lipsticks. These are a part of the new 'Dear My Wish Lips Talk' line. This formula has a soft melting texture and the colors are bright and pigmented. The two colors I was sent BE101 & PK003.

The applicator is so cute! It's got a cure bow on it! I love whipping these out of my purse.

This color BE101 is a light beige color. It's perfect to use a nude color to wear a nude lip.

The other color is PK003 which is a lovely darker pink lipstick.

The lipstick does go on very smoothly. It is a very creamy formula. It's actually very hydrating

The beige color is a bit too bright for my lips so I mixed it with my MAC lipstick 'Cream in My Coffee' and it looks great. I actually wore them together at my friends wedding this past weekend.

This color is gorgeous. I love a fun pink lipstick. This lipstick is so easy to put on and go.

I was also sent samples of the Precious Mineral BB creams. I have yet to try them, but I'm sure they're great.

Again thank you to Etude House for sending me these lovely products! I love sharing them with you all. If you guys didn't already know Etude House opened their global online shop and it's lovely.
